Cross-country Ski. Stowe. Moderate. Various distances. We ll carpool to the base of Smugglers Notch Road in Stowe. (The road is closed). We ll walk up the road to the Sterling Pond Trail and return via the trail in the woods. Plan to bring hiking poles, traction device (stabilicers, crampons, etc.), water and snack.
