We will ski the Great Circle at Highland Lodge, a challenging loop with hilly to steep terrain, which meanders through woods and farm meadows, with an optional pond crossing depending on conditions and participant interest. Participants must be experienced skiers, have their own equipment (or rent from home), have a season’s pass or purchase a day pass, wear layered clothing, and carry snacks, lunch, water, and extra gear. 4.4 miles round trip with 1,180 ft. elevation gain. Spruce Mt. Excellent 360 degree views of the Green, White and Adirondack Mountains from view points and fire tower. Plan on bringing snowshoes with crampons and micro-spikes to manage possible weather and snow conditions. We will stop for lunch on the top (weather permitting).
