Beaver Meadow Lodge 4.6 miles round trip, 900 ft. elevation gain. Trail leads to a lodge at a large beaver pond in a basin that, presuming the pond is frozen (usually is that time of year) offers nice views of Whiteface Mountain and surrounding area. Vertical rise as noted is moderate but as the area is near Mount Mansfield, snowpack will likely be significant and some form of snowshoes will be\r\nnecessary. Contact trip leaders for more detailed travel directions. Leaders: Dana Lawrence\r\n(802)371-9610 or Nancy Thomas (802)272-6650 or hikeski51@gmail.com for meeting time and\r\nplace.

5 miles. Worcester Mountain. Start at the trailhead in Worcester, and hike up to Worcester Mountain, returning on the same trail. We will use snowshoes or microspikes depending upon conditions. Contact Leaders: Steve or Heather Bailey, 622-4516 or stevecbailey@gmail.com for meeting time and place.

Back country ski or snow shoe, depending on the snow coverage. 5+ to 8+ miles. Easy to Moderate. Moderate Pace. Depending on the conditions, we will ski or snow shoe woods roads, snow mobile trails, and hiking and ski trails from Greenbay Loop Road to Peacham Bog and then ski or snow shoe on the bog (if it is sufficiently frozen), which is stunning in winter. Contact Leader: Phyllis Rubenstein, 793-6313 or phyllisruby2022@gmail.com for meeting time and place and final plan. You must have back country skis (or snow shoes if there is insufficient snow coverage for skiing).
