Ridge running in Bolton Valley. Starting at the Bolton Valley access road we will hike past Bolton Lodge and climb the Beaver Pond ski trail to Buchanan Shelter on Oxbow Ridge. We will then follow the new Long Trail south for 6.5 miles along the ridgeline (all downhill!) to Stimson Mountain, Rt. 2 and the new Winooski River footbridge.
